Changes:

Sitting on this blog too long has left me wondering about its fate. I want to write. Owning five semi-active roleplay accounts on Tumblr. should make that pretty clear. But there's the problem: semi-active. Fiction is one thing, especially the kind I participate in that truly depends upon other people to be there and respond . Non-fiction is quite another; and I've been having plenty of thoughts I believe worth sharing on a myriad of subjects. No doubt there'll still be some focus on the lolita side of my life here too, I just don't want that to be the only thing I write about. I've been thinking over, of course, topics I could realistically speak on here and there's plenty to work with. Crime Mysteries Book reviews Product reviews Weight loss progress The cast of characters I play and the world I have been developing over the last six or so years See? Plenty. The list is going to grow. One way or another, if I will it or no. That's

Will I ever give it up with answering these quizzes? Probably not. As such, we'll just have to see what the result of my persistence shall be. Let's begin! The rules are simple, you get a point for every one of these things that you can say you've done, add the points up at the end, and you have your score! For the purpose of this quiz the term "brand" is open to your own consideration. If you consider Bodyline as a brand, or don't consider anything that wasn't designed by Mana himself as brand, that's up to you. Questions are broken up into groups of 16 to make counting your points easier! You have a favorite brand You own a petticoat You own multiple petticoats in different cuts and/or lengths You own a parasol You own an item from a brand You own a novelty item from a brand (plates, mugs, stuffed animals, home decor, and other "non-wearables") You own an item from Bodyline You own an item from a Taobao brand You own an

I thought I'd try this out just to see where I'm at so far in the context of this fashion, and it'll be a good bit of fun. Each criteria is a level. Add up your total and then put yourself into a category. Repost this to your own blog, website, or journal, bolding the ones that apply to you, and then show your score/level at the bottom. LOLITA LEVEL START! You’ve been to egl. You’ve posted on egl, without an onslaught of ‘USE THE MEMORIES’ and likewise. You’ve bought a lolita mook. You’ve picked a favorite brand. You’ve ordered your first item. You’ve worn a full outfit. You’ve worn a full outfit out in public. You’ve worn a full outfit and posted photos of it on the Internet. You know what JSK, OP, and cutsew all mean. You’ve bought your first brand piece. You know your measurements. You know you shoe size – in American, European, and Japanese. You know who Mr. Yan is. You know who Mana is. (+1 points if you know his band. +2 points if you know his brand. +3 poin

The Lolita Tag Answered:

Taken from here , I'm going to give this series of questions my best shot. 1. What got you into Lolita? Anime as stereotypical as that is, and also my love for the American Girl books (specifically Samantha Parkington's) may have subconsciously spurred me on to take an active part in the fashion. 2. What Kind of Lolita are you? (event Lolita or lifestyle) Currently I am event only but I have hopes of wearing the fashion on a daily basis. 3. What's your style? Sweet, Classic, Gothic? My style is in the development stages at the moment but I have preferences for Gothic and Classic. 4. Is the style you started with , the same style you are now? That would be a yes, if the previous answer is anything to go by.  5. Dream dress? I would very much like to get my hands on Holy Light Dim Pemplum JSK in bordeaux by Metamorphose. 6. What sub-genre would you like to try that you haven't felt brave enough to try? I would like to try Guro out at least

Cycling in Brand?!

I know, I know: the shame  of it! But it's not as terrible as all that, really. Especially when my self-esteem is at stake. There are some days you just got to wear something from your Lolita wardrobe, no matter the cost. Not exactly how I feel, but goals! - ( credit ) It's not as tricky as you might believe, at least it hasn't been for me personally in the one Innocent World OP I've been donning for the journey I take to arrive to my course. Since it only reaches 80cm~ in length, I've not had any problems such as getting my skirt caught up in my back or front wheel. Really the only issue I face is how warm it can get in such heavy material, and ultimately that can't be good for my clothes. But undoing a button or two here and there really makes a difference.

I started off my day with a pronunciation exam, which went fairly well if I had to give my opinion on it. My hour cycle for the day has been completed, alongside some progress made in a little project I'm working on in Sony Vegas. I hope to release more information regarding that soon, so keep an eye out! What could I possibly be doing? Two bills for the day have been paid, and I didn't even need to cycle up to the bank as I had originally predicted. That's a bonus in my book 💓. The stresses concerning the Irish Lolita community Halloween event are beginning to lessen dramatically. I just have to take it one day at a time and not freak out over such a big event for such a small country. Unfortunately I was unable to reach the door on time when the mailman rung the bell, but my brother who was up strangely early managed it well enough on his own and left me a little surprise downstairs where all my elder sister's mail is usually kept. My heart leapt into my
